Chris has over 25 years of experience in the insurance and managed care industry. In 1999, Chris founded JBS Benefit Group, LLC, later to merge with Commonwealth Benefits in 2010. Prior to forming JBS Benefit Group LLC and Chatham Insurance Partners, his most recent role was as a Senior Underwriter for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina specializing in self funded employers in the large group market segment. Chris’ expertise includes underwriting, managed care, fully insured and self insured health plans, alternate funding arrangements, dental, life, short term disability, long term disability and voluntary benefits.
Laurie has over 20 years experience in the insurance and managed care industry. Laurie takes a hands-on, proactive approach when assisting clients with their benefit programs. She believes that each clients' benefit package should be tailored to correlate with their corporate philosophy, satisfy budget limitations, and meet the needs of their individual employees. Laurie helps build and maintain effective professional relationships with clients by overseeing new and renewing groups. Laurie is extremely involved in the servicing of daily activities, billing, claim issues and other client services that may arise. Laurie’s experience includes Group and individual medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and voluntary benefits.
Jack has been with Chatham for 4 years originally working as an implementation specialist for our group benefit clients. After successfully implementing and training our clients on our enrollment platform he provided support for our client services team to further learn about the benefits business. Today he is responsible for finding new business, cross-selling to existing clients, and expanding Chatham’s local presence.
